A very happy Fender Stratocaster '69 in Alaska

Posted by Anthony Oliver in Necks, Reviews, Stratocaster

Partscaster received some great feedback for a one-piece maple Strat neck we sent out to Mark Mastre in Wasilla, Alaska.

"Anthony!!! OMG ! Dude, you probably don't remember me but I asked you a couple questions about your necks that I saw here. After going to your 'partscaster' website and purchasing a nice looking neck for my '69 reissue, I received it yesterday. Today, I installed the machine heads, added a string tree and installed the newly drilled neck with the 4 bolt screws. I bolted the guitar to the neck and strung /re-strung in between some truss-rod adjustments. I have a few more tweaks to perform to my satisfaction, but with that said - DUDE - what a fabulous neck !!! The price for the quality of neck is Unheard of these days. Thanks so much and if there is anyway I could give you good recommendations /feedback to keep your business growing, let me know! What a Great deal and thank you again for this very fine crafted replica!!!"

Mark was also kind enough to send us some photos showing the new neck fitted to his Fender Stratocaster '69 Reissue.

Thanks Mark, enjoy playing that very cool looking guitar!

Tremolo bridge springs for Stratocaster®

Posted by Anthony Oliver in Reviews, Tremolo springs

Whether you prefer your Fender or Squier Stratocaster set up with a floating tremolo or pinned back more like a hard tail, it is very simple to adjust the tension which gives you the variety of feels. Adding one or two tremolo springs can give you a much more solid feeling bridge and tremolo action. Many Strats are shipped with just three trem springs - this is fine for some players, but you might well need to go up to four or five, especially if you heavier gauge strings. However many you use, you should be going for a symmetrical, evenly spaced arrangement of springs.

A recent customer of this store solved a wobbly trem problem, here's what he had to say:

"Parts came super fast, 5 spring stratocaster trem is now SOLID".

You can buy them here in sets of one, three or five, with FREE UK P&P.

One-piece maple neck for Telecaster® with 57mm heel width

Posted by Anthony Oliver in Necks, Reviews, Telecaster

This one-piece maple neck for Telecaster® has been flying off the shelves here at Partscaster HQ. There are many Telecaster bodies in circulation with a 57mm neck pocket measurement, including some Japanese Telecasters and other import guitars but there are precious few stockists of the wider neck which will fit these bodies.

Not only does this neck solve the niggling neck measurement issue for wider spec bodies, it also offers unrivalled craftsmanship at this price point. Carved from a single piece of North American hard rock maple, it has a strikingly "vintage" look and feel, with a heel adjusted trussrod, bone nut, skunk stripe inlay and a vintage-tinted finish.

Here is some of the feedback we have had for this neck over the past couple of months:

"Lovely item!"

"Je suis vraiment très content de mon achat, sérieux et rapide!"

"All Good"

"Lovely neck. It will sing soon! Great seller. No problems with delivery to France"

"Beautiful neck"

"QUICK DELIVERY WELL PACKED GREAT ITEM AS DESCRIBED - RECOMMENDED SELLER".
